North Brevard is worth planning for—starting with the date
Women in Titusville, Mims, and Port St. John often search close to home first, then discover that the right program may be in another part of the county. That is a normal outcome, not a dead end. What matters most is matching a home’s opening date and requirements to your actual timeline before you invest time in any listing.
Brevard Grace House is a women-only recovery residence opening January 15, 2027. It is not currently open and is accepting inquiries for future admission. This guide offers planning help for women in north Brevard; it is not a claim that Grace House has a Titusville property or branch. Ask admissions for the confirmed residence location before making any travel plan.
Judge the commute with real trips, not map distance
North Brevard communities connect to the rest of the county through a few main corridors, so a placement in central or south Brevard can be practical for women who work near Titusville—or impractical for your specific shift. Once admissions confirms the address, test each recurring trip on the exact day and time you need it, in both directions.
If you will rely on buses, check current Space Coast Area Transit schedules rather than assuming service between far-apart communities is frequent or direct. Identify a backup option for a missed connection. If you drive, add fuel, maintenance, and parking to your budget instead of treating the weekly rate as your only cost.
Know what the program and rate include
Grace House expects at least 32 hours per week of employment, education, volunteering, or approved productive activity, alongside weekly house meetings, shared responsibilities, screening, and recovery activities. Bring your real schedule to the admissions conversation and ask how it fits the written expectations; exact curfew and visitor rules should be confirmed with admissions rather than assumed.
The rate is $195 per week, all-inclusive, plus a one-time $100 move-in fee. Utilities, Wi-Fi, on-site laundry, a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar, weekly group coaching, and stocked household supplies—such as toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and dishwashing soap—are included. Every new resident receives a welcome care package with body wash, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and snacks.
The home welcomes women taking prescribed Medication-Assisted Treatment, including Suboxone, Vivitrol, or methadone, with self-administration under house protocols. Children cannot currently live with residents; if living together with your children is essential, tell your care team so they can help you find an appropriate option.
- Confirm the residence address before testing travel
- Check your actual work and appointment trips
- Review prescribed medication arrangements with admissions
- Clarify family-contact and childcare plans
- Ask for written house terms before paying
Keep certification status and clinical care separate
Brevard Grace House is going through the FARR Level 2 certification review process and will be a FARR Level 2 certified recovery residence once certified. It does not hold that certification today. If your treatment team, employer, or funding source requires certified housing, confirm what must be verified and check status with FARR before arranging a discharge.
Certification also does not turn a residence into a clinic. Grace House provides recovery housing, coaching, and peer support alongside—not instead of—care from licensed professionals. Keep your outside providers, prescriptions, and appointments arranged separately, and do not change prescribed treatment to fit an assumed housing rule.
Make one clear next step
If you need housing before January 15, 2027, ask your care team or 211 about confirmed options available now. For an immediate emergency, call 911; for mental health crisis support, call or text 988.
If you are planning for the opening, call or text (407) 758-0958 and name Brevard Grace House. A useful first question is: “I’m in the Titusville area and planning women’s recovery housing for after January 15. Can we discuss the program, costs, and certification review?” An inquiry does not reserve a bed. Keep medical records out of text messages and ask about a secure process if documents are needed.
